Apple launched a slew of products in two major events held this year. The Cupertino giant was speculated to host another event around November, but that doesn’t seem to be happening now. Apple was expected to launch the iPad Pro, larger iMac and other products in November. However, as per reports, the iPad Pro, larger iMac is now scheduled to arrive in 2022. Apple held three launch events in 2020, but this year there will only be two.

Apple made the iPhone 13, iPad Mini, Apple Watch official in its September event while in its unleashed event, the Cupertino-giant made the new MacBook Pro, HomePod mini in different colours and AirPods 3 official. The company also revealed its new processors including the M1 Pro and M1 Max — the first pro chips designed for the Mac.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has now reported that he “wouldn’t expect” a third event from Apple this year. “I wouldn’t expect a third event this year or any other major announcements. Apple held three events last year because Covid-19 caused delays and disrupted its schedule. If Apple had any more Macs to launch this year, it would have announced them this past week—even if they wouldn’t be shipping until later this year. There’s really nothing else left of substance in the roadmap that would be ready for 2021. Instead, look for a larger Apple Silicon iMac, new Mac mini, new iPhone SE and new iPad Pro after 2022 gets underway.”

Gurman also revealed that Apple could launch the Mac mini, larger Apple Silicon iMac, new iPhone SE, and new iPad Pro in 2022.

Apple has launched the third-generation Apple AirPods in India for Rs 18,500. With the arrival of the AirPods 3, Apple has also slashed the price of the 2nd-generation AirPods to Rs 12,900. The MacBook Pro 14-inch, powered by M1 Pro processor and 512GB storage has been launched for Rs 1,94,900. Whereas the 1TB version of the same will be available for Rs 239900. The 16-inch MacBook powered by M1 Pro and with 512GB storage is available for Rs 239900, whereas the 1TB version of the same has been launched for Rs 259900. The M1 Max variant with a 1TB variant has been launched for Rs 329900. The HomePod mini is available for Rs 9900.
